Pharmacology: Tilmicosin is a semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic for animal use. It is highly effective against mycoplasma and has a similar antibacterial effect to tylosin. Sensitive Gram-positive bacteria include Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus, Bacillus anthracis, Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Listeria, Clostridium putrefaciens, Clostridium perfringens, etc. Sensitive Gram-negative bacteria include Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria meningitidis, Pasteurella, etc. It is more active against Actinomyces pyogenes, Pasteurella, and animal mycoplasma than tylosin. 95% of hemolytic Pasteurella strains are sensitive to this product. Pharmacokinetics: After oral administration, it is rapidly absorbed and characterized by strong tissue penetration and large volume of distribution (greater than 2 L/kg). High lung concentration, elimination half-life can reach 1-2 days, and effective blood drug concentration is maintained for a long time.
相互作用：
(1) Concomitant use with epinephrine may increase mortality in pigs. (2) Shares the same target site with other macrolides and lincosamides; therefore, concomitant use is not recommended. (3) Shows antagonistic effects when used with β-lactams.
作用用途：
Macrolide antibiotics. Used to treat infections caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, and Mycoplasma in pigs.
不良反应：
(1) The main toxic effect of this product on animals is on the cardiovascular system, which can cause tachycardia and reduced contractility. (2) After oral administration to animals, dose-dependent gastrointestinal disorders such as vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain often occur.
注意事项：
Timolol may irritate the eyes and cause allergic reactions. Avoid direct contact.
休药期：
Pig 14 days.
